Description: 1958 second pressing on Federal records. For some reason this was pressed in 1957 with King labels on the vinyl then pressed with Federal labels. They were likely done a roughly the same time even though they are listed as 1957 & 58. The Federal version is somewhat more difficult to find.
Sleeve Condition: Strong VG, sleeve has great color, presents very well. No splits or tears or major ring wear. It does have an old 2.5" seam tape repair at the top edge. Some minor top edge wear and corner wear as well, this is not major. Back has a series of pencil checkmarks by a number of tracks and some wrinkling of the back slick. Comes with blank vintage inner sleeve. Not sure if it is original or not. Again, too many issues to be VG+, but no real major ones/. Overall on the stronger side of VG.
Vinyl: VG+, visually this pretty clean. At first glance there are really no issues at all. Under close light there are several small scuffs throughout. Nothing that affects playback. Play tested and this sounds great - the recording is not ultra top notch, but what is there comes through clean and clear. No pops, skips, etc. Some light crackle in just a couple of places, a deep cleaning might even take care of that. Label is very clean and still has the nice, black label. No writing, spindle wear or fading. Just really nice condition overall. You'll be very pleased with this one. Don't miss grabbing it today!
