Cocteau Twins | Heaven or Las Vegas (LP) + The Spangle Maker (EP) | 2x 12” vinyl 4AD, Beggars Banquet, Rough Trade [IMPORT].

Indie / Dreampop / Britpop icons, earned critical praise for their distinctive ethereal sound and the soprano vocals of Elizabeth Fraser, whose lyrics often abandon recognisable language.

4AD (Ivo Watts-Russell) proclaimed Heaven Or Las Vegas, to be one of the best-ever releases on his label. It is certainly the band's most commercially successful album release, and was re-issued some while ago.

This LP is the original release of Heaven or Las Vegas with sleeve artwork by Paul West and Andy Rumball.

The Spangle Maker is one of the pivotal tracks in 4AD's early years, it heralded a new crossover era in the label's history (even earning a Top 40 placing in 1984). Cover artwork by Envelope23  (designed by Nigel Grierson and Vaughan Oliver).

This is the extended play release of the title.

Record: This 12" has been played quite a few of times when it was purchased in the 1980s,
but was in storage for the past 30+ years and it is hence in good condition, zero skips.

Sleeve: Sleeve design by 23 Envelope (Nigel Grierson and Vaughan Oliver) The sleeve shows signs of cosmetic wear,
some print damage on spine but not broken cardboard, no creases, no breaks,
see close up images for detail.

Very good. This LP has been played quite a few of times when it was purchased in 1990,
but was in storage for the past 30 years and is hence in very good condition (some small marks, hardly crackles), zero skips.

Sleeve:

The sleeve shows signs of cosmetic wear,  e.g. small print damage due to removed price sticker and scratch on front, no spine damage, no creases, no breaks, see close up images for detail. Inner sleeve in excellent condition.
