Coil 2000 MUSIC TO PLAY IN THE DARK 2 Pearl vinyl 2LP Unplayed

Rare opportunity to acquire this unplayed vinyl edition of Coil's acclaimed release from 2000. Inscribed then given as a gift to Julian Cope by Coil's John Balance, the item was immediately archived and kept safe in Cope's Head Heritage archive. It is, therefore, like a new record – three sides of music and one etched – as clean as if it had been kept in a time capsule. The rear of the disc features the number 1120 and John Balance's dedication is made out to Cope and his band of the time Brain Donor, as a thank you for Coil's having been asked to play a May 2000 concert (their first for years) at Cope's CORNUCOPEA Festival Hall show (see photo).
