Description

A Chalice Record. I ordered this from Threshhold House when it originally came out. It comes with a certificate of provenance stating "This Milky White Vinyl copy of Coils 'Musick to Play in the Dark vol 1' is number 146 of a limited subscription Edition. It was purchased directly from the artists." The certificate is signed by both Jhon Balance and Peter Christopherson. The record is in near mint condition, my highest grade, with no flaws whatsoever. The sleeve has a 1' split seam at top, which happened in the mailing because Threshhold House unwisely packed all the records in a slim mailer without removing the record from the sleeve. I've seen several copies that friends ordered and they all had this split seam, since they all were mailed the same way. Coil listened to people's complaints to this and mailed vol. 2 much more carefully. I am currently selling volume 2 as well. Aside from the split the sleeve is near mint as well.
