Description

This is the vinyl LP "East" by Cold Chisel. It is a USA pressing, released in 1981 on the Elektra label (6E-336 SP).

Cold Chisel are Australia's greatest band (in my biased opinion). In their "heyday" they broke pub attendance records wherever the played, and their albums are now all collectors items. Mega-powerful vocalist Jimmy Barnes has since had more solo number 1 albums than any other Australian artist.

This is the sought after US release of their 3rd studio album, where "Ita" was replaced with "Khe Sanh". This is a rare white label PROMOTIONAL COPY and was not made available for sale. The cover is stamped in gold lettering and has the serial number 018264.

Tracks are :

Standing On The Outside, Never Before, Choirgirl, Rising Sun, My Baby, Tomorrow, Cheap Wine, Best Kept Lies, Khe Sanh, Star Hotel, My Turn To Cry

The Vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Cover and Inner Sleeve (with lyrics) are also EXCELLENT.

Near Mint For older records you won't find them in better condition. Little or no needlewear/scuffs and no noise. Covers with little to no wear or creasing.

Excellent For the collector, this is a still a decent record. Hairline needlewear or very light scuffs may be found which has little or no affect on sound quality. Covers may have minor wear and creasing.

Very Good Obvious signs of long-term use. Will have scuffs and light scratches which have some affect on sound quality. Covers may have noticeable wear and creases but intact.

Good Deeper scratches are evident, which significantly affect sound quality. Covers may be split, torn or significantly worn.

Fair Good for frisbees and starting fires.
