Coleman Hawkins Wrapped Tight stereo Impulse A-87 Orange & Black label "Van Gelder" in runouts fold out cover
Coleman Hawkins (ts), Bill Berry, Snooky Young (t), Urbie Green (tb) Barry Harris (p), Buddy Catlett (b), Eddie Locke (d) Recorded 1965
The record looks and plays strong VG++. Plays very clean and quiet. Side 1 looks clean without scuffs or scratches. Side 2 has 2 hairline scuffs, not into the grooves that do not affect play. Grooves are bright, glossy and do not show wear or damage and look little played.
The cover is strong VG++.
The front cover is glossy and bright with hint of ring wear. There's a very thin line across the top, visible in certain light where the laminate wasn't applied properly. The corners are tight and sharp. The back cover is super bright and glossy and has a hint of ring wear. Inside the fold out is clean with only very light wear. No split seams. Spine is intact and readable.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
