The ultimate concept album from the greatest band of all time (I'm not saying I'm impartial!) - available here in an unusual CBS South African issue - there seem to have been two SA issues and this is the first one (the second had the famous "screaming face" image on the sleeve, rather than just the "bricks" cover). The back cover says "Marketed and Distributed by Gramophone Record Co. (Pty.) Ltd." There are paper inner sleeves with the lyrics (in Scarfe's distinctive writing style). The inside of the gatefold sleeve features Scarfe's art as well (see picture). The text on the labels starts at 10 o'clock and 7 o'clock - another feature of the SA 1st issue (see picture).

The quality of the vinyl in this double album is VG/VG. The gatefold sleeve is VG with a little discolouration due to age and a couple of scuffs. The inner sleeves are VG+, though one of them has a tiny tear - I've included a picture of that so you can see that it does not affect the art work at all. The labels are very clean.

Good chance to own this unusual version of the album - one for Pink Floyd collectors or just for anyone who would like to own this great album on vinyl.

I will post the record 1st class within 2 days of receiving payment. It will be in a cardboard LP mailer, further strengthened by an additional cardboard insert.
