Description

Artist: Colosseum Title: Valentyne Suite Label: Vertigo Swirl Cat Number: VO 1 847900VTY Matrix and stampers: side A: 886775 1 Side B: 886775 2 The records i am listing, and will be in coming months are from a private collection lovingly built up, and cared for, by an avid fan music fan and vinyl lover. They mostly span the 60's. 70's and early 80's and represented are heavy rock classics, prog rock and blues- rock classics , major artists early pressings from Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Free, Dire Straits, Yes , Deep Purple and many others including anumber of rarities. Each has been catalogued and stored in a way designed to preserve their condition. They have been played and so I won't describe them as mint even when they pretty much are, many are nr mint/ Ex+ some VG+ but as each varies i will grade according to the guidelines below and unless otherwise stated i will be play any i list through prior to listing. Please see pictures and the descriptions below for more detail of each individual listing. Overall Condition Confident this is a first press -from 1/2 matrix numbers of their sought after classic album which is in VG+ overall condition but has issues!. Vinyl: VG vinyl has sme surface marks and hairlines but plays through well . I don't 'professionally' clean albums and quite possible this hasn't had a deep clean since it was first bought! Cover: VG no splits and only light signs of shelf wear, slight sticker damage on upper right front . Please see pictures Label: VG/G. the swirl is good and label has the 'a philips record product' acknowledgement present on first release.. The main flaw is that there is sticker damage on side 2 ( clearly someone has in the past added their name to it via a sticker) some spindle wear is discernible. Please see pictures. Inner Sleeves: plain white, not the original inner sleeve with the swirl! "MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint; EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing; VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable; GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc; FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced; POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing; BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler." All records will be packed and posted carefully and securely in reinforced cardboard mailers. Please note international postage will normally be be "International signed for" . If any item is not as you feel it was described please contact me and I will endeavour to sort out any problems amicably and without hassle. I have added some postal exclusions! I will combine postage for multiple items. Please do ask any questions you may have and I shall reply as fully as I can. Thank you for looking and for bidding.
