Description

Original UK stereo Vertigo press LP.
Daughter of Time was released in December 1970 and was recorded in the midst of an upheaval in the band's lineup with Chris Farlowe taking over vocal duties, only one of its eight tracks, "Three Score and Ten, Amen", features all six of the official band members. This is the small spiral second label variant issued in May 1971 (when first released in December 1970 earlier copies were pressed with a large spiral label, but these are very rare!), with the very early 1-1-3 1-1-3 mother stampers!
The matt foil gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light storage rubbing & somecorner/edge wear on the outer cover, the inner cover has some light rubbing/finger marking. The spine is intact & fully readable, the spiral inner is intact, discoloured & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few faint spindle markings.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really good, loud and clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; 6360017, 1Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-3 2Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-3. This is one of the very early pressings of the original UK stereo 1971 issue of this iconic 1970 album!
