Signed by ALL members of the band: Gary Moore, Jon Hiseman, Don Airey and John Mole. For the unaware, this is THE Gary Moore, who went on to be one of the world's foremost blues and rock guitarists before his untimely death in 2011. This is essentially a virtuoso instrumental album, with the exception of "Rivers", where Gary Moore sings a particularly soulful and melancholy vocal.
This record is in very good condition. Looking at the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall and have nothing remotely serious visible. The record has no serious scuffs, marks or blemishes, has a vivid shine and is in very nice condition overall but with light signs of use.
I have listened to the record today and it played really well. There are no serious issues at all such as skips, sticks, annoying clicks or distortion. It's still a great sounding record.
The sleeve is in good condition. It has slight wear and rubbing to the edges and corners and the writing along the spine is still all legible. Having been boxed with other records, there are some slight markings on both the front and rear face of the sleeve. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. The paper/cellophane inner is in almost perfect condition with no tears, splits or pen marks.
The album was signed by all members of the band in my presence at a gig at Loughborough Town Hall in 1977/78, in blue biro, and I hope the photos show that they are still very clear and recognisable.
Because of the presence of these signatures, I believe this to be one of, if not the rarest example of this particular album, hence the starting price. This really is a collector's item.
It's been owned by me since original purchase (in 1977), and always kept in a smoke free, pet free home.
