DESCRIPTION: Colosseum- Valentyne Suite. 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, large swirl label with "Phillips" credit, gate fold sleeve and correct swirl inner dated 1070. My own copy for many years until a recent upgrade. All postage costs include top quality packaging and tracking/signed for if available. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double: LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo V01 847 900: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen and only a couple of light hairlines that prevent better grade but have no effect at all on playback. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX. Music is clear,clean and loud. Gate fold sleeve is in decent shape. It is firm and square and has moderate to heavy edge wear (less than moderate to fully legible spine) but , moderate to heavy corner wear and only light creasing. There is a fine 1" split to centre rear top edge with asociated cellotape residue. Clean inside of gate fold with no faults. Swirl inner is pretty clean with small discrete cellotape repairs to 2 of 3 edges and poly still fuly attached. Clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SWIRLS/PROG/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
