Description
Here is an original 1969 issue of Colosseum’s Valentyne Suite album on the Vertigo label VO1 847900 VTY.
The album is housed in a gatefold sleeve which includes “A Philips Record Product” printed on the inside centre spread and on side B of the vinyl. The matrix numbers are 1*Y*1 and 2*Y*1. The centre label on side A is given over to the large Vertigo swirl logo – the details appearing on side B. The track details for side B appear as “Themes” on the sleeve but as “Parts” on the vinyl label. All good indications that this is a first pressing.
There are very few surface marks – light at that. The sleeve is in VG condition but does have some wear on the spine and edges.
The vinyl plays perfect, no jumps clicks, just the odd little static click but its barely audible, a super copy you will not be disappointed.

so what here you get the better quality *lower volume* UK pressings on thick 70s vinyl and the Iconic UK Black and White Vertigo *Swirl* label.

Please note that this album is complete and original 1st UK pressing, the record and sleeve are original and almost 47 years old!

a few spindle lines , light removal surface lines to report there are removal scuffs under strong light, still a real finders dream!
plays incredible with hardly any background noise could benefit from a professional clean, super shiny clean fat pre oil crisis 70s vinyl (see pics) great swirl labels...
no writing stickers or tape to report.
Plays fantastic with bright clear sound , may benefit from a professional clean (we don't do this as it's an individual thing) some background static is noticeable in the quieter passages but nothing to disrupt playing no sticks or jumps.
