VERY RARE!
A fine copy of Coltrane’s classic jazz masterpiece, BALLADS, here played with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones. It was produced by Bob Thiele, recorded by Rudy Van Gelder, and released in 1962.
Great selections include NANCY WITH THE LAUGHING FACE, TOO YOUNG TO GO STEADY, IT’S EASY TO REMEMBER, and ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL, among others.
Rare Coltrane, to be sure, here in its original edition: Laminated hardboard gatefold has slight peeling on back (nothing serious), while, within, is the heavy Impulse platter in near-mint shape. Very clean.
A great album, from a true jazz giant, not to be missed.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
