Mozart: Piano Sonata 8
Schubert: 2 Impromptus
Chopin: Waltzes
(performers)
Lipatti piano Condition cover: NM
Condition record: NM Notes: Lipatti's last recital, 1950 live recording from Besancon Festival. 2 individual LPs, 1499 and 1500, both records and covers in NM condition, records appear unplayed, with full gloss like new. Cover of 33CX1499 is of thinner type (scanned), 33CX1500 is on thicker cardboard. Same for pressing, although both have same stampers and dead wax number, pressing is variation of this earliest blue/gold type, see scans of labels. Not that it maters much for set in like new condition, but I guess it's still worth mentioning. It was played all the way through and like with all earliest mono pressings it plays with soft background noise on stereo cartridge. (Click to see high resolution scans!)
