Description
Collectors, here is a rare one, Columbia Black Seal 7 inch one sided #230, circa fall 1902. Please note (pun intended) that the record has a grommet at the spindle hole, and a circular B indicating record was pressed by the Burt Company. An unnamed tenor sings the song "Hello, Central! Give Me Heaven", with piano. Pretty song with fine singing, a nice listen. The music comes through, there is considerable surface noise, start and end are a little rough. Ancient record from the start of Columbia's involvement with disc records, incredibly wear, probably worth a lot more than my asking price, don't pass it up!
