Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

Side CO 31634 offers the instrumental, "Sleigh Ride Polka", performed by the Globe Trotters. Side W 151868 lists a Christmas favorite in 5 languages!, "Jingle Bells", performed by Joe Gumin and his Orchestra. This record is in VG+ condition! Very modest wear on both sides for a clarity of sound you will enjoy. No cracks, chips or skips!

We will only ship these fragile records via priority mail!
