Description
Released by Columbia in 1967, cat # DB 8187; this is “Gypsy Fred” / “City Girl” by The Koobas.
This record has come direct from an amazing collection of a bona fide 60’s DJ who cut his teeth in the ballrooms before moving onto radio and production. He was a northern soul DJ first and foremost and naturally psych passed him by. Hence, the psych/freakbeat 45’s from his collection are in mint/unplayed condition!
This is a demo copy with the release date of the 12th May 1967 printed in the centre of the label. I have played this record. There is a spindle mark on the B-side label (not by me). The vinyl itself is unmarked. The record grades as MINT and comes in the correct company sleeve.
Postage and packing will be £5.50 for UK customers by Special Delivery. European customers will pay £8.17 for International Signed For service and USA and the Rest of the World customers will pay £8.85 for International Signed For service. Payment by Paypal is preferred for all destinations though traditional payments from UK customers are most welcome.
