Description

Very rare, limited first edition of all 9 Beethoven symphonies conducted by Bruno Walter. Patterned black cloth, photo-album style box with 7 pocketed leaflets. All 6 eye, deep grooved original pressings. Records are individually graded (never trust just a single grade for multi-disc sets!) and placed in original 6 eye era plastic inner sleeves. Shipping will be done in an oversized box with plenty of padding for protection. Records will be taken out of the pockets to avoid cutting through the intact original ones. Detailed thick booklet with lot of pictures and musical score examples and a frameable Bruno Walter poster.

Record condition:

Sym. 1/2: EX+/NM- (one light scuff but plays very well)

Sym. 3: NM-/NM-

Sym. 4/5: EX+/EX+ (a few faint scuffs but plays very well)

Sym. 6: NM-/NM

Sym. 7: NM-/NM

Sym. 8/9: NM-/NM-/NM-/EX+ (a few light paper scuffs, plays very well)

Box condition: NM-

Booklet condition: EX+ (name on front page, slight sign of use)

Poster condition: NM

Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection. Every record I offer was hand-picked based on its merits on music, performance, and sonics (not necessarily in that order!). I will list recording credentials such as producer, engineer, venue, date, etc. as I believe as an educated buyer, these will offer crucial info for an unfamiliar record to make a buying judgement. Hope you'll find this useful!

Shipping cost:

US: shipping is $6 by USPS media mail. $1 extra per each additional items for combined shipment. Priority Mail is available and cost is based on your location. Please wait for invoice if you prefer Priority Mail.

International: USPS just raised their price and I don't have enough data to calculate. Please send me a request for total if you won multiple items and wait for my invoice for combined shipment (don't pay the eBay automatically generated invoice)!
