Description

COME JOSEPHINE IN MY FLYING MACHINE - Original 2 Minute Columbia "Indestructible" Cylinder Record # 1468, Sung By Ada Jones & Van Brunt. It is the Old time Song that was sung by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the 1979 Movie "TITANIC" during the scene where they are both standing on the very front of the ship and looking over the ocean as if they were flying together. It was a popular Vaudeville type of song during the period of time when the Titanic sailed. Since this is one of Columbia's 2 Minute Indestructible Cylinder Records, you can play it on any Antique Phonograph that has the two minute tracking and stylus (most Columbia Cylinder Machines and Many of the Earlier Edison Ones as well). You don't have to worry about it getting broken as would have been the case with most of the two minute cylinder records which were made of fragile wax. It's a fun and upbeat type of song. It comes with an Original Columbia Cylinder Box, no lid. Buy it if you want to add it to your music library. Be sure and check out the many other Antique Wind-Up Phonograph Related items that I also have for sale on eBay at this time, such as an Original Victor Talking Machine, "Nipper" Dog Collectibles, Steel, Bamboo/Fiber and Cactus Needle Packs (Original ones) for playing your old 78 RPM Records on a Wind-Up Phonograph, Original Owner's Instruction Manuals for some models of Victor Victrolas, Horns, Phonograph Parts, etc. Thanks for looking!
