THE COMPLETE COMMODORE JAZZ RECORDINGS- VOL 2

Mosaic Records, number MR23-128

Out of print 23 Record Set

Includes 48 page booklet with photographs, biographies and discography

This is the second of three volumes of Early Commodore Jazz recordings put together by Mosaic. This set covers 1944, 1945 and features sessions by more than 20 artists including Joe Bushkin, Wild  Bill Davison, Edmond Hall, Billie Holiday,  Kansas City Six with Lester Young, Pee Wee Russell, Jess Stacy,  Jack Teagarden, Miff Mole, Mugsy Spanier, George Zack, Hot Lips Page and Albert Ammons

These sessions are as complete as possible, and in chronological order. Mosaic has used the best original source material available to release them in this LP box set. This set is one of an edition limited to 2500, but it's not individually numbered.

These records came from the collection of a music critic and they look like they have not been played.

Records: Near mint

Cover: Very good plus

Strict grading using Goldmine Magazine standards. The highest grade that we give to an opened record is near mint.
