Description
Up for bid is an extremely rare and amazing Northern Soul 45 on the GSF Records label, Connie Laverne's "Can't Live Without You" from 1974. This is a white label pressing featuring the mono mix on one side and stereo on the flip side.
Both sides are in beautiful VG++, almost NM- condition. Playback is crisp and clear, however, there are a few light marks that appear to be from being stored inside of an unlined sleeve. This results in some light surface noise at the beginning and end of the track, but not during the actual music. The Mono mix does appear to be the superior mix, at least to my ear. Considering the age and rarity of this single, the grading is quite conservative. The labels are clean and the center hole shows no signs of wear. The vinyl retains a nice, like new gloss and sounds amazing.
This single does not come around very often (I have only been able to find where 4 copies have come up for sale on eBay) so do not miss out on your chance to get a beautiful copy of this rare 45. It will be shipped in an audiophile style, poly-lined paper sleeve to prevent any damage from shifting during shipment.
Bid with confidence. All items are promptly shipped in sturdy cardboard record mailers with proper packing to ensure they arrive safely. To prevent damage to the jacket during shipment, LPs are removed from jacket and housed in a polymer bag with the jacket. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
