Description

Vinyl plays real clean. Vinyl does have surface marks that do not impact sound. I would say it plays close to near mint for a 1959 vintage record. There is an occasional light tick noticeable between songs but not overwhelming. Inner sleeve is a new anti-static white lined sleeve. Cover is in excellent condition with corner bumps on right side. One of the truly electrifying record hits of 1958 was "It's Only Make Believe" by Conway Twitty. It was one of those waxings which the music business looks upon as " miracle record." It was a first recording by a completely new artist-yet it climbed to near two-million mark in sales. That sort of thing only happens once in a decade, because normally an artist must be built carefully, and painstakingly, quietly, over a long period of time. Conway Twitty sounds a lot like Elvis in this Rockabilly style.
