Here is some further info on Cook Binaural recordings, found on the Internet. (I myself had never heard of binaural recordings until I acquired these albums.)

Cook Records are a highly prized label by Collectors because in 1952 they were the first company to produce commercial stereo records, which Emory Cook called "Binaural". At least 60 "Binaural" recordings were known to have been released. Binaural stereo sound was achieved by putting the output from two separate microphones on two independent monaural tracks on the same side of a 12" record. One stylus played the outside track while the other stylus played the inner track simultaneously; the grooves of the first channel formed a single "band" that was concentric with and surrounded a second band that started about halfway into the record and which contained the grooves of the second stereo channel. The common early stereo records that could play each wall of a single groove as a separate track, known as V-groove stereo LPs, as well as the cartridge that was a standard part of their use, were not released until 1957. Therefore, Cook beat his competitors to issuing stereo LPs by 5 years. While there are many vinyl enthusiasts that collect Cook's Binaural LPs, very few ever get to play them because you need a working Cook Laboratories Binaural Stereo to do so.

I acquire LPs at estate and other sales. I visually inspect them I and grade them accordingly. (I'm no expert, so I try to err on the side of caution. For example, I never list anything as Mint, and I only occasionally list something as Near Mint.) I do not have a turntable, however, and cannot attest to the sound quality.
