Description
This is a 12" Cook "Sounds of our Times" binaural LP record #1068 with Willis Page conducting the New Orchestral Society of Boston (Mainly BSO members) in Honneger's Pacific 231, Debussy-Ravel Danse, and Barber's Adagio for Strings. This was an early stereo LP with separate bands for each channel, to be played with 2 cartridges mounted on a single tonearm. Of course it can be played with a single cartridge without the stereo effect. Cook's recordings set a standard for quality of sound in the early 1950s. Aside from 1 or 2 light marks, record appears new. Album is in good shape. Very rare in this condition.
