Description

Doc Cook and his Dreamland Orchestra play two hot tunes, "Brown Sugar" and "High Fever," on Columbia 813D.
Freddie Keppard, Elwood Graham (cnt); Fred Garland (tb); Jimmie Noone (cl); Joe Poston, Clifford King (cl,as); Jerome Pasquall (cl,ts); Kenneth Anderson (p); Robert Shelly, Johnny St. Cyr (bj); Sudie Reynaud (tu); Andrew Hilaire (d,vcl); or Bert Greene (d,vcl).  Recorded in Chicago on July 10, 1926.
This record is in VV- condition visually, but it plays around V+ generally.  Each side has a few scratches (visible in the photos) that tick softly.  The labels are faded.  Overall, it plays better than it looks.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
