COMMENTS: Nice original picture sleeve EP on Lionel Hampton's Glad-Hamp label. It features 3 live tracks recorded w/ the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. Side A is a great Blues ballad version of the Ray Charles hit. Side B, Track 1 is a fine midtempo small band track w/ excellent guitar obbligato and cool organ. Originally performed w/ Hampton by Little Jimmy Scott. Track 2 is a storming uptempo track featuring vibes and a bootin' sax solo.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
