Description

Up for auction is a 1930 78 by Cornell and his Orchestra on Okeh Electric label # 41386.Cornell is actually Cornell Smelser. This 78 was released on February 7th 1930.The Songs are titled Accordion Joe on one side and has Collegiate Love on the other side. The Accordion Joe side is very nice with extremely light to light scratches with 1 small scratch I can feel with fingernail.Has a bit of very light to light scuffing also. The Collegiate Love side has very light to light scratches with 1 very small scratch I can feel with fingernail.Has a couple tiny pit marks I can feel with fingernail. Both sides of the record look to have quite abit of groove wear but the 78 plays very well and looks nice also.I played this 78 with the treble up halfway. It played very well with very light to light static only.Had a few very light ticks and also had 2 pops at the very end of the Collegiate Love side. But does play really well for a 77 year old record. If the buyer is not 100% satiafied I have a return for refund on all records I sell. Please check the pages down below for shipping charges.

I have checked a website on Cornell and His Orchestra and it says that his Orchestra featured a young Tommy Dorsey and a Young Jack Teagarden. Also had Stan King and others.
