Description
This is part of a smaller auction of all higher end records of mixed genres with starting bids of just $5. There's some really cool stuff here just doesn't often come up for auction including free jazz, small press indie, 90's alternative and more.
Artist: Count Basie
Album: Self-Titled
Description: First pressing with black labels. Great example of Basie's prime-era, tracks recorded 1947-1950. Sleeve has artwork by Andy Warhol, who would become one of America's most famous visual artists. Because of the crossover demand, this is not a record that comes up for sale often.
Vinyl Condition: VG++/borderline EX, super-clean, very shiny. No real wear at all. Plays and sounds great. Labels are nice as well with no tears/writing/stickers. Great copy of this one.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, presents well overall. It does have some scuffing on the front, but corners are nice, spine is nice and the color really pops. No tears or splits. No writing. Will display very nicely either as art or as part of your record collection.
