Country 78 RPM Lot/4 Fruit Jar Guzzlers, Bascom Lunsford, Am Stuart GREAT RARE.


Here's your chance for a stellar instant collection lot of pre-war country 78 RPM records. All from central Appalachian old-time musicians. LUNSFORD- visually an even V but plays very nicely. With proper stylus etc. sounds V+.

STUART- visually E- overall. Glossy with minor wear and scratches. From one of the oldest recorded American fiddlers!

AVOCA- an under the radar disc of a lovely quartet with FIDDLE and GUITAR recorded in Winston-Salem in 1927. These folks were from the same community as Dudley Vance- he or his associates are likely to be on this. E to E+. Wow!

FRUIT JAR GUZZLERS- Here as Stone and Butler. Sides are Cacklin Hen and Cripple Creek. Superb old time string band from West Virginia. Recently junked this in WV. Visually V- overall but Cacklin Hen clears up and is very enjoyable! Rare rare rare.
