Here we have an ultra rare copy of Coven's Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls album from 1969. This record has gained such notoriety and infamy for its satanic undertones and allusions to witchcraft. It was also rumored to be a favorite of Manson and his Family. After the Tate murders in 1969, the album was abruptly pulled from shelves at the behest of Mercury records, making this album extremely valuable and hard to find. This is the 1st issue of the album on the reddish orange Mercury labels. The record is a borderline VG/VG- grade with multiple surface scratches and scuffs. Some of the scratches are a bit deeper and can be slightly felt by your fingernail. However, I played the record and there weren't any skips. There are definitely pops and crackles present in the quieter areas of the songs. The cover is in VG condition with some ring wear and edge wear. The trifold cover is in good condition.
