Description

This is it.  The ORIGINAL Satanic rock album!  Published by Mercury before taken off the market for having been seen in the hands of Charlie Manson, this LP captures the Illinois-based acid rock group performing pure demionic music of a very nasty tone.  Far more sinister than works or other early devil-rockers Black Sabbath and Black Widow.  Coven's first LP came out in 1970 just before Black Widow's "Sacrifice" making it the first satanic album.  Moreso, included is the groups performance of a by-the-book black mass on the last half of the LP.  The packaging is a tri-gatefold featuring loads of text, lyrics, pictures, and information on Satanism as it was at that period in time.  The LP is in very good condtion after 40 years with no major skips or interruptions in play, a few pops here and there.  The jacket is also in very good contition with NO writting or promo cuts.  There is some wear along the edges, but no bends in the packaging or stains.  The sleeve has come a bit unglued, but not severly and can be fixed.  Please email me with any questions.
