Having been in and around the music industry for a good part of my life I can tell you that this is one of the coolest and most rarest auctions that I have had the privilege of putting together. This is from my own personal collection. I will tell you that I think the Coverdale page album is still one of the coolest records of all time. I remember listening to it when it came out thinking this is groundbreaking in a sense that you have Jimmy page playing better than he did in the late 70s with and I dare to say it some better material. The Press kit is one of the originals that was constructed printed and used by Geffen records. There are some absolutely stunning black and white press photos some I don’t believe have ever been seen before. Most of them seem to be of matted finish but I do believe there are a couple glossy in there as well I think the Matted has a more elegant look to it especially since this record had in my opinion a certain level of style as you were getting both Coverdale and Page at a very critical time that I would argue would be their prime.

Both Page and the Coverdale signed a few artwork street sign Prints. At the time I was able to get my hands on three of them this was my favorite. Two were given to friends of mine in the 90s.

I probably spent $200 alone on the frame and mat I had it done in the same diamond shape as the street sign art so that when you hang it on the wall the frame matches the arts and looks stellar. The guitar pic is very cool, It has the artwork on it and it also says Coverdale Page on the other side. The pic has been used as some of the yellow from the sign is a bit worn down. I can tell you that it was used as a promo event where a few songs were played it was not used in Osaka Japan, that I know of. Now if I was a dishonest person I would’ve told you otherwise because I believe Osaka were the only live shows these two did. However, I like to keep the facts straight and respect the rock ‘n’ roll artist fans and collectors alike.

I will be so bold as to tell you I do not think there has ever been anything else like this that I have seen floating around, it’s the type of things that stay in someone’s collection. no I have several items personally signed to me from Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, Whitesnake, among many others, and if it cannot be displayed I no longer wish to keep it in my collection because I truly think it is just unfair.

I know you will enjoy this and I still think that the record holds up today.
