Description
Before I start with the item description I would inform you that have been selling on Ebay for more than 15 years. During this time I have built up excellent feedback. So you can buy from a trusted seller in the knowledge that any issues will be resolved swiftly and in a professional way. OK, now the important stuff.
This Record has been played entirely just before listing so my description is as accurate as possible allowing for subjective viewpoints. The photos are an important part of the description so please review when considering to buy. The photos are of the actual record and covers that are for sale. When listing records I never use stock photos.
I will point out any major flaws but please refer to grading system below for a general guide to condition.
This record is the rare original issue and not the recently re-released version.
The Vinyl - all sides are in good to very good, the sound quality really good but there is noticeable surface noise / crackle on quiet parts and mainly at the intro to side 1. Visually the vinyl has many scuffs and some more noticeable scratches but it plays really weel, it doesn't jump or skip at all. Vinyl Labels are in nice, clean. condition. Deadwax matrix numbers are MFN 242 A2 / B2
The Cover - Good Condition. Creasing is evident around the edges and there are sumerous scuffs aminly on edges. There is also one noticeable scuff towards the lower end of the bath tub. Spine text is still partially legible. There is a small tear on the bottom left corner of the back cover - it measures circa 20cm in length.
Inner Sleeves - Very Good to Excellent condition, no creasing or folding.
Condition gradings:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
