Description

I am selling part of my vinyl collection which has been accumulated over the years. I am not a dealer but have realised that if I pass these records on they will not be appreciated for what they are.


So on offer here is a really nice copy of Disraeli Gears by Cream, released in Stereo on the Reaction label in 1967 catalogue number 594003



The single sleeve, which is laminated on both sides, is in really Excellent condition, arguably near mint ( see photos)

There are three tiny bubbles in the laminate which is why I haven’t graded it higher, but these can only be seen when holding the sleeve at an angle in strong sunlight


The opening for the record is crisp and straight, and the spine is as made


I have played the record at high volume on my system ( Michell Gyrodec SME arm, Naim pre and power amps) and it is, as you would expect for a first press, exceptionally good sound with clear highs and deep bass. There is some very low level surface noise between a few tracks, but I was playing this at a very high volume, the music is unaffected


The matrix numbers are 594003 A 1 1 and B 1 1
