Title: Disraeli Gears
On the collectable Reaaction record label this rare MONO 1st press delivers strong and powerful analogue sound with only minor evidence of its vintage. The disc has no significant visible flaws or defects. Although this loudly cut disc has evidence of minor background noise on the run in grooves and dead wax it is barely noticable during most of the playback. It is housed in a fully laminated sleeve, designed by OZ magazine art editor Martin Sharp, that shows some signs of wear (see photos and details)

Inner Sleeve:
The inner sleeve is a generic "patents pending" white die cut sleeve and may not be original.
Comments: Some minor signs of age but no significant defects.
Record:
The disc is not warped in any way. The disc still retains its much of its original sheen and looks well cared for. There are no noticable scuffs, scratched or marks. The sound offers a great detailed analogue experience with some minor background noise that is audible on the run in groove on side one and ocassionally between tracks. I did not notice any clicks, pops or other intrusive noises. To my ears, anyway, it provides a really enjoyable listening experience.

Visually: the vinyl maintains much of its original sheen and looks in well preserved condition with no obvious defects.
Play testing: To my ears, the record delivers pure analogue vinyl sound with only minor background noise on the "dead wax" and very quiet sections - nothing intrusive to spoil the listening experience. This mono mix is generally considered superior to the stereo mix.
Play testing is always subjective. Although I would not sell you something I would not want to listen to, we all have different ears and play our records on different kit: for this reason I offer a "no quibble" returns option.

How I pack:
I use top quality cruciform (pizza box style) mailers along with sheets of highest quality card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the sleeve and if the inner sleeve is non-generic, I will put the LP in a new generic sleeve to avoid damaging the original. Box sets will be packed in boxes and protected with bubble wrap. I have comprehensive a comprehensive range of packing materials at my disposal, so rest assured, your order should arrive undamaged.

A bit about me:
It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
