Description

An original 1st press in highly sought after mono. Matrix A1/B1. Heavy-duty pressing -- these early mono's have a power quite unlike any other copy....The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with front lamination. Please note covers are consistent with 1st issue. And for this they need to show the format on the top left on the rear. The track listing should be in black for side 1 and white text for side 2. Original inner too.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Which is the tricky thing to find -- this title was enjoyed by folks and often surfaces in poor condition. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. Remember these copies have very deep grooves too. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovely and clean throughout. if you wanted a defining rendition then do give this copy due attention. The title is a bench mark classic - and when coupled with a copy of this standard...you really are talking about something magical.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage looking very tidy indeed. Lovely clean and flat front with precious little creasing. The rear has avoided the usual ageing process and wear -- despite being unlaminated. Slight edge wear and the openings are still firm. Spine is 80% intact -- text pretty much all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) no splits.
