Description
Cream - Disraeli Gears - Released Dec 9, 1967 USA on the - Original Gold/Gray Atco Label ~ Mono 33-232. It was also released in Nov 2, 1967 in the UK on the Reaction Label.
Featuring: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker.
Interesting Facts: I did my research on the history of the ATCO Labels and this Album: 1st label was Yellow with Black printing for albums 33-101 through 33-138, then they changed their label. 2nd label was Gold on top & Gray on the bottom, used for monaural records 33-139 through approx. 33-265. 3rd label was Purple on top & Brown/Orange on bottom and this was used for Stereo issues of the albums. They also used another Yellow label for Stereo Issues. From my research of this album, it is believed that this is a first press issue in the USA.
Cover - VG++ condition - A very small split upper right hand corner, bumps, shelf wear on bottom spine, no writting, and it looks like a small hole on back upper right corner. This cover is in very good shape and strong. Has the original record sleeve also.
Vinyl - VG++ condition - Checked under bright light and seen light scuffs and some scratches, but you can not feel them to the touch. I test played this album after I cleaned it and sounds great, no skipping, no interruptions, no ticking or popping, just great music.
