Description
Here we have a genuine 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing of Disraeli Gears by the legendary classic rock band Cream!
Featuring their hit 'Sunshine of Your Love' as well as 10 other tracks such as 'SWABLR (She Walks Like a Bearded Lady)' 'Tales of Brave Ulysses' & 'World of Pain'.
This is the orignial MONO 593 003 uk version with the laminated sleeve on both sides. The serial 593 003 is displayed in the top left corner on the back of the sleeve and is not written in the white box found in later pressings.
The vinyl itself has the dark blue/silver Reaction labels and the MCPS credit on side 1 that only appears on the very 1st pressings.
The serials stamped into the run off groove of the vinyl are:
Side 1: 593003 A ? 1 1 1 3
Side 2: 593003 B ? 1 1 1 6
Condition of item:
This vinyl is used and has a fair few small scuffs/scratches that can be seen under a light however these are not deep and cannot be felt to the touch. On top of this there are couple of scraches that are more visible and can be felt to the touch on side 2. I will attempt to show this as best I can in photos.
Finally the sleeve has come unstuck along the bottom seam. I will also show this in the pictures. Please be aware this is just where the glue has come unstuck, no tearing/lasting damage has taken place and just needs re-gluing.
Overall I would say that the sleeve is in excellent condition for the age and the vinyl is in good/fair condition for the age.
Grab yourself a piece of classic rock history!
Ideal for any Clapton/Cream fan.
The very 1st print of this classic album! Much sought after and hard to come by these days.
Any questions or to request any further pictures feel free to ask!
Good luck!
