Cream - Disraeli Gears

The title of the album is based on a malapropism. Eric Clapton had been thinking of buying a racing bicycle and was discussing it with Ginger Baker, when a roadie named Mick Turner commented, "it's got them Disraeli Gears", meaning to say "derailleur gears", but instead alluding to 19th-century British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli. The band thought this was hilarious, and decided that it should be the title of their next album.

condition:

Vinyl is in VG condition has quite a few surface marks, has been cleaned on a Moth II pro record cleaner and have played right through, there is the odd crackle but still a very good listen lots of life still in this vinyl...

Cover is in VG condition... has a minor crease top right corner otherwise pretty undamaged. Laminated on front and back....

Has a name written lightly in pencil I think on one side of label...
