From Atco Records (SD 33-232) this is DISRAELI GEARS by CREAM, an original (first) US stereo pressing from November 1967 in remarkable condition. Jacket still has shrink-wrap intact which has protected the cover over the years (sticker on front is on the shrink, obviously) and easily rates NEAR MINT MINUS or better showing no bumped corners and no split seams, no writing or sunning, no fading or foxing. Jacket's spine is strong with printing off-center. Original inner sleeve is gorgeous (EX or better).

Labels are flawless (MINT) and the matrix shows A/A meaning this baby came from the first batch; matrix also indicates the Los Angeles pressing plant. Playing surfaces have a nice gloss with one tiny scuff which does not affect play. The wax rates NEAR MINT MINUS or better and plays same with that beautiful expansive depth characteristic of stereo recordings made in '67. If you're a Cream fan this is the one to own -- it's of archival quality and you can crank it 'til the neighbors scream! Low opening bid with NO RESERVE.
