Description

An original 1st stereo press of FC on the UK Reaction label. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. Please note label design is perfectly consistent with 1st press and is flat with no ridging. Also note the last publishing credits on either side, are Essex & Jewel [unlike copies from a couple of years later]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day printed cover with patents pending. Also included is an original inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Wow!..in superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. An absolutely stunning player...I don't think I've ever herd Fresh Cream like this..best copy bar none! The clarity is unbelievable..it's like you're in the same room..fab! Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Whether it's the low-key sections, or the more complex parts the performance is absolutely top-draw..nigh on faultless. Interference is pretty much totally absent. I'll do the usual catch-all..you may detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) So so difficult to find in top-level condition. Even find the cover in this sort of condition is actually pretty difficult. Nice clean shiny front with a bit of creasing particularly in that lower left section. The rear is looking very nice indeed and seems to have avoided the worst of the usual ageing process. Please note there's a name written in the top-left. There's a bit of edge wear and don't expect to read any text on the spine [no wear-through though]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity, particularly for this title....and I can assure you many do not look and feel anywhere near as nice as this example.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits or markings.
