Description
Original UK Reaction blue label stereo 1st press LP.The band began recording at Rayrik Studios in London's Chalk Farm in the summer of 1966 (from which Wrapping Paper & The Coffee Song resulted). The core of the album work was completed at Ryemuse Studios, London in Sep-Nov 1966 with Timperley engineering at both studios. This is the earliest pressing with the first label variant with the 'MCPS' & 'MCPS' & 1966 song credits on the labels and earliest A//1 B//1 matrices and 1-1-2 1-1-1 stampers!
The Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd front laminated sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with a some laminate rubbing & a couple of small laminate creases on the front cover and some storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact, but worn and no longer readable, the plain company inner is intact & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with a few faint hairlines and a couple of light needle marks visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, which stops when the music starts, overall, a really great loud and clear listen. The matrix nos. are; 593001, A//1-420-1-1-2, B//1-1-1. This is one of the earliest copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1966 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!

All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
