Description

Original UK Liberty/United Artists label stereo press LP.
The sixth studio LP by CCR issued in 1970 and recorded in a month in San Fancisco. It is the most sonically adventurous CCR album, noted for its widespread use of saxophone and keyboards, in contrast to the group's previous albums, which were dominated by guitar. This is the first pressing with the Liberty/United Artists label credits, earliest A-1 B-1 matrices & 3-RM 1-GR stampers.
The Garod & Lofthouse matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light storage rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a few faint hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on either side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle, pops or hiss and definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, Overall a really great, loud & clear listen.
The matrix nos. are; LBG-83400, A-1 mother stamper 3-RM, B-1 mother stamper 1-GR. This is one of the earliest 1st pressings of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
