For sale is super rare 12" EP copy of 'Home Style Surgery' from short lived Perth based thrash band 'Cremator' on the now defunct but epic Sydney label Waterfront
Features Russell Hopkinson on drums - before he actually learnt to play and went off to join You Am I after they kicked their original drummer out for being too ugly for promo shots
Released in 1988 and features a killer version of Charlie Daniels Band's 'Devil Went Down to Georgia'. Vinyl is in mint condition - opened but still in original heavy sleeve. Sleeve shows age - some creases and storage wear. I reinforced the spine of sleeve at some point with sello-tape so its not mint but is in great shape for 25 odd years Printed inner sleeve is perfecto I am original owner and EP has been permanently stored in hard shelving to protect sleeves & discs. Will only charge the actual postage cost based on buyer location.

Rough and ready do it yourself primitive street thrash from Perth Australia. Humorous lyrics and song titles with raw youthful charm - Beer & Violence!! A low budget affair so it doesn't have bay area EXODUS / TESTAMENT style mega production with all the precision and chunk - nope this one is raw, fast and not always 100% tight but a fun listen nonetheless. The Charlie Daniels cover is very interesting, fusing heavy metal thrash with frenetic violin. Cremator were doing it in Perth Australia long before many others and this highly sought after mini LP is an ultra rare piece of Australian thrash metal history.
