ARTIST - CRESSIDA TITLE - CRESSIDA LABEL - VERTIGO CATALOG NO - VO 7
RECORD GRADING - VG- COVER GRADING - VG
The cover is all intact but has some extensive age and shelf wear. Minor rub marks. No splits. Comes with the original Vertigo inner sleeve that has a tear and some ruffling. The plastic inner part is still there. There is some moderate crackles and pops on Side Two at times and some nice moments of clarity. The record has a long scratch on Side One. It causes some crackling and pops. I did not have a jump, but a couple of close calls with a loud tic. I was very pleasantly surprised. There is a slight edge warp that does not cause any problems on my system. There are a lot of moments with great clarity. Original first UK pressing with the Vertigo swirl label.

VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM: (based on Goldmine)
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear. VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits. G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed. STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects. Hairline scuffs - are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one. I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying
