Up for sale is the 4 disc 45 RPM test pressing set of Crosby, Stills, & Nash self-titled LP, Atlantic Records SD-8229. Pressed by RTI this is the Classic Records reissue version. As stated this is a 4 disc set in which the recordings are on one side of the disc with the other side being blank. All discs are as new with full lustrous sheen with absolutely no marks on them whatsoever. This is an extremely rare set as you know.
Considering it is not only 45 rpm but also a test pressing and you have an idea of the quality of the music on it. This is without a doubt the best version you will ever hear unless you have the original master tapes or unplayed acetates. Truly an audiophile's dream.
They are all pressed on 200 gram vinyl from RTI. You may see a few of these test pressings in 33 rpm. But this 45 rpm set is much harder to find and the sound quality is amazing. Don't miss this great opportunity as it may not come up again for a long long time, if at all.

I am the original owner of these having purchased directly from the manufacturer. Kept in a smoke free environment with all vinyl in poly lined sleeves and covers in poly sleeves.

ABOUT ME
It’s been quite a while since I’ve sold anything on eBay. Primarily I’m a collector of test pressings and audiophile vinyl. In the upcoming weeks I’ll be selling off a few treasures and gems that I’ve accumulated over the years. None are going to have a reserve. I’ll let the market decide which means I could take quite a loss on some of what I’m offering.
But I truly believe that eBay’s original auction philosophy still holds true today more than ever. I get a little tired of set sale prices or reserve auctions that are way overpriced, don’t you?
A lot of sellers will provide grading like Mint, Mint Minus, VG +, etc. I chose to describe the exact condition. That means if there are any blemishes, marks, etc. on any of the vinyl I sell, you will see it described. If you must have a grade other than this, please ask and I’ll provide it based on Goldmine Standards. But my thoughts on grading is that it’s best to be up front and provide an accurate description of any flaws so you know exactly what you’ll be getting.
All records will come well packed with a stiff cardboard mailer over the front and back of the cover before being placed in a sturdy mailer. I take packaging very seriously. Please do not send payment until I contact you with shipping costs. The shipping cost includes insurance (for US buyers) and an additional $1.25 for the shipping materials.
I do not profit from shipping.
Shipping will be through USPS, Priority Insured for U.S. customers.
If you are outside of the U.S. please let me know your shipping preference. I will work with you as much as I can on this.
