Hello, I have been on eBay as a buyer and seller since October 1999 with a 100% feedback record, so bid and buy with confidence!
Up for sale today is a great copy of Crosby Stills Nash & Young's (CSNY) classic Deja Vu released in 1970. Best of all, this is a rare white label promo copy (stereo), issued in very limited quantities to radio stations for advance play.
The vinyl plays Near Mint (only a pop or two, mainly on the song 4 + 20) and visually appears VG+ with various scuffs and marks. The white labels also have a few spindle marks. Based on sound quality, plus visual appearance, I grade the vinyl overall as Excellent. Most importantly (to me anyway), the record sounds fantastic!
The textured cover is a solid Excellent+. All seams, spine and corners are complete. But, it does have some a slight "push" on the upper right corner and upper left corner (viewing from the album front). Hardly noticeable, but I mention it for completeness of my description. Otherwise, I would grade the cover as Mint. The cover also has the original orange promo sticker (see photo).
No original inner sleeve, but in my experience, most, if not all, white label promo albums were sent in a generic white paper sleeve (which this album came with when I bought it). After I purchased it, I replaced that plain paper sleeve with an archival inner sleeve which provides the best protection for this rare vinyl. I then stored the vinyl, with its archival inner sleeve, in a generic white outer cover in order to protect both the originally-issued cover and the vinyl from damage (see photo). The album will be shipped with the additional inner archival sleeve and outer cover as described here for maximum protection.
