COVER: VG (see below)
RECORD: EXC (strong)
NOTES: I really like this 1979 Bay Area private, and this sound is definitely more in demand now than it used to be. Includes lyrics insert. Record plays great. The cover would be a strong VG+ and has no seam splits, but there is 1 major issue although kinda amusing - some prior owner decided to stencil IRON MAIDEN on back cover. Some of the liner notes and song titles are affected by this bonehead move. But just think of the fun you can have at parties when you show people the back cover.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
