Description
CRY ME A RIVER - 7" UK ACETATE (same song popularized by Julie London)
Scarce UK 1 sided 7" metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate featuring a custom typed 'Regent Sound' label. These items by their very nature are rare with only handfuls produced.
A Side - Cry Me a River
B -Side - (Single Sided Acetate) Blank
Simone Neal is printed on the label , plays a female vocal recording (PROBABLY NOT JULIE LONDON)
Unknown 7" acetate recording from Jazz artist likely from the 60s. With unknown and likely commercially unreleased recordings
From a bunch purchased together - Those others have Simone Neal or Gerry Shury links as artists / composers
This is the same song written by Arthur Hamilton and popularized by Julie London , vocals sound similar to Julie London however I believe this is a different vocalist and a slight different Jazz version ?
Acetates are known to deteriorate with each play and this is sold as a unique historical artefact (Over 50 years old)
not necessary for repeat play (all discs are visually graded)
GRADING: Very Good (disc / plain sleeve)
DESCRIPTION: Looks excellent , plays well with only minor crackles
Check out my other Acetates on ebay - purchased a large collection (Combined Shipping available).
All orders sent in professional record mailers with stiffeners & postage includes tracking
