German version of “Groeten Uit Grollo“
Die 2. LP und das beste Album der legendären holländischen Blues Pioniere. Das Jahr 1967 war wohl auch die kreativste Phase in der Bandgeschichte. In diesem Jahr veröffentlichten Cuby & Blizzards noch ein Album mit dem amerikanische Bluespianisten Eddie Boyd. Sie waren Backing Band von Van Morrison bei seinen Auftritten In Holland, nachdem dieser sich von Them getrennt hatte und bevor er seine Solokarriere in den US begann.

Zustand: „Very Good plus“ (“Exellent”). Es sind keine sichtbaren oder hörbaren gröberen Kratzer vorhanden. Nur leichte „Wischer“ und feine Oberflächenkratzer die größtenteils durch das Rein- und Rausziehen aus der Innenhülle entstanden sind. In den Einlaufrillen und vereinzelt zwischen den Stücken und an leisen Stellen ist ein leises Knistern vorhanden. Geprüft habe ich die Platte mit Kopfhören, beim Abspielen über Boxen sind die leisen Nebengeräusche kaum noch hörbar. Cover: Die Laminierung ist noch in gutem Zustand, nur die Ecken sind leicht angestoßen und an den Rändern (besonders an der Einschubseite) zeigen sich vereinzelt leichte Abnutzungserscheinungen. Es sind aber keine abgeknickten Ecken, Risse, Falten oder sonstige gröbere Schäden vorhanden. Die weiße Rückseite ist leicht vergilbt und ein „Record Ring“ beginnt sich abzuzeichnen. (Siehe Fotos).
2nd LP and the best album of the legendary Dutch blues pioneers. 1967 was probably the most creative phase in the band's history. Cuby & Blizzards released in 67 also an album with the American blues pianist Eddie Boyd. And they was the backing band of Van Morrison during his performances in Holland, after he had separated from Them and before he began his solo career in the US.
Condition "Very Good Plus" ("Exellent"). There are no visible or audible coarser scratches present. Only slight "hairlines" and fine surface scratches which are mostly caused by the in-and outsliding from the inner sleeve. In the inlet grooves and occasionally between the tracks and on quiet parts a soft crackling is audible. I have tested the record with headphones, on the loudspeakers the quiet noise is barely audible. Cover: The lamination is still in good condition, only the corners are easily triggered and at the edges (especially on the insertion side) shows some mild signs of wear. But there are no bent corners, tears, creases or other coarser damage exists. The white back is slightly yellowed and a "Record Ring" is beginning to emerge. (See photos).
